I have a dell inspiron 1505 and my screen turns to black after a few seconds its on and then wont go back?
I tried rebooting and stuff but nothing work. I close my laptop and the screen is on but after a few seconds it goes black. My screen is just really dim because i can still see my backround kinda and my mouse moving but its very hard to see.
Have you tried changing the display settings?

If it turns dark then probably your laptop backlight is broken. It’s going to be expensive to repair.
