Will I see a noticeable improvement going from 1G RAM to 2G RAM in a notebook computer?
Which programs are likely to show the most improvement?
HP dv6226us, running Vista, 1.6 G processor.
Generally you would always see an increase in performance when installing more RAM. Think of it as going from a four lane highway to an 8 lane highway. You wont see much lag in performance when running multiple app’s.
