what sports car under 20,k have a rugged tough looking exterior gives great mileage …. and runs fast
i am really leaning towards impreza but people are telling me how it geives alot of problems
it must have great mileage too .. 300hp sounds alittle too much i am looking around 185 hp which gives good mileage …
ok to start off. im a huge NASIOC supporter. google it to learn more. now to the topic at hand. the stock 2.0 usdm subaru impreza WRX puts out roughly 227 hp to the crank. like 167 to the wheels. the STi 2.5 model puts out roughly 285 to the crank. but it boasts a 6spd tranny which in my opinion means more MPG’s. since your looking at under 20k then both can be had used. i would opt for an STi as it comes with the DCCD. AWD is the best thing to hit the road. why do you think all the other manuf. are leaning towards it now…..and subaru has only perfected it. check consumer reports and youll find that the top 3 sports sedans best bang for the buck are Acura RSX, Honda Civic SI then Subaru WRX. as far as performance and handling subaru blows them out of the water but reliability wise…..honda will always reign supreme. still out of all the manuf. out there subaru is up there with honda…..that says alot. dont listen to the guy about 300hp is a track car blah blah blah. the 06 pontiac GTO pushes 400 and the sti will leave it sittin there spinnin its wheels. in my opinion if you buy anything else……your wasting your money. NOW if your wanting to mod the car. BE CAREFUL!!!!! the WRX rely solely on its ECU and even the simplest mods will cause it to run like crap. almost every thing you do to your car performance/ bolt on wise will require tuning the car. email me if you want to know more. i think i have said enough.
