Wipe hard drive clean and restore my compaq presario R3000 to factory settings?
I am selling my old laptop on Ebay and want to wipe the hard drive clean and reset it to factory settings. I tried looking for the recovery CD-Rom but no luck. How can I do this manually without the CD-Rom? Please someone help! Thanks 
omg i think i found the cd-rom! lol
If you want to really wipe it there is an easy way. You have a windows sticker on it then your registered, take it to a computer store and ask them to just wipe and install a fresh operating system. I have done this to a few computers for about 30 bucks.
